Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Q-Line and the D-Line screens?

Philips Q-Line is a cost effective entry level Digital Signage range suitable for basic installations with with shorter usage hours.

Philips D-Line is suitable for 24/7 usage within professional and commercial environments. The hardware specification is higher end with faster processors, better connectivity options and high brightness panels. This range is widely used in retail stores, offices, education, transportation hubs, control rooms and hospitality.

What is the difference between 24/7 and 18/7 ?

The term 24/7 means the screen is designed to operator 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A 18/7 screen is designed to operate up to 18 hours per day, 7 days a week - it needs 6 hours "rest" per day.

24/7 screens are built with heavier-duty components (backlights, processors, cooling) so they can stay on all the time without overheating or degrading quickly. They are usually more expensive because of this durability.
